Toronto, Canada (March 30, 2010)—Advanced Chemistry Development, Inc., (ACD/Labs) is now offering its industry standard processing software for 1D and 2D NMR, free of charge to students and educators. ACD/NMR Processor Academic Edition can be downloaded immediately from the ACD/Labs website.
ACD/NMR Processor first made its name as a vendor-neutral processing and analysis platform that could truly integrate NMR spectra with chemical structures. With over a decade of continuous improvement, a host of incredibly useful features to help students, chemists, and spectroscopists have been introduced to help them get the most out of their data NMR data; automatic extraction of multiplet patterns and coupling constants, assignment of multiplets to atoms in a chemical structure, robust and sophisticated macro capabilities, and powerful reporting tools to name a few. NMR Software available to academic users Topspin is free for academic users and is available for downloading from Bruker's FreeTopSpin site for Windows, MacOS and Linux operating systems. You will need to click on 'Login' on top right on the Bruker website and then register an account with them before you could download TopSpin.
